What we’re about
Everyone has a story... and sometimes, the hardest part is knowing how to begin.
This is a relaxed, welcoming space for anyone interested in non-fiction, memoir, autobiography, and personal storytelling. Whether you're a seasoned writer, just starting out, or simply someone with a story to tell, you’re invited.
We meet to write, share, and talk about the real stuff: memory, truth, culture, identity, and how to shape our lived experiences into meaningful words. We’ll explore creative non-fiction in all its forms, from short stories to personal essays, life fragments, comic strips and beyond.
Some of us write for ourselves. Some write to be heard. Some don’t write at all (yet), but love listening.
Occasionally, we’ll explore tools like memory-recording platforms, journaling, mindfulness... as a way to warm up or dig deeper into untold moments. But the heart of this group is real people, real connection, and real stories.
Whether English is your first language or your third, whether you’ve published books or never written a word, if you’re drawn to real-life storytelling — we’d love to have you.
Bring your notebook, your voice, and your curiosity.
Sometimes we’ll meet outdoors. Sometimes in cafés.
