FLASH EVENT - Breakfast/Brunch and a Walking Tour of Bay Village On the Lake.

Come join us for breakfast/brunch at Mojo's Coffee at 600 Dover Center Rd. for an after-church breakfast, followed by a walking tour of historic Bay Village.

Did you know that Bay Village was the first Cleveland home of Elliot Ness, the hometown of the late George Steinbrenner, the former owner pf the NY Yankees,--and of course for those born and raised in NE Ohio, the home of the infamous Sam and Marilyn Sheppard. If you are not familiar with this story, I'll fill you in on the tour, as my great aunt knew Marilyn and several other Bay Village socialites of the 1950's.

Agenda For This Adventure
10:30 - noon - Breakfast at Mojos
12 - 12:20 - 20 minute break for those who want to run home to pick up their pooches before the walk
12:20 - 12:30 - Meet in the parking lot of the Rose Hill Museum on Cahoon Rd. across from the lake.
12:30 - 1:00 - Begin the walk in the park and log cabin behind the museum, go across and down the street to Huntington Beach
1:00 - 2:30 - head west on Lake Rd to see the Sheppard property, Ness propeety and the Steinbrenner property as well as the beautiful homes on the shoreline before heading back to the Huntington Reservation trail to visit the Lake Erie Nature Center.
2:30 - Head back to the museum and browse through its exhibits. NOTE: The museum is only open between 2:00 and 4:30 on Sundays, so that is why we are going there last.

NOTE: The distance of the lop we wil be walking is approximately 3 miles. It will be a casual pace walk though, not a workout.
