What we’re about
This Group is for any WOMAN who has raised their children or doesn't have children and found that they need to start making new friends and learn to have fun again. Life is more that just work, and house hold chores. This group is to get a team of women to plan fun events, talk and remember what it was like before kids, stressful jobs, the women who are retired and still want to have fun. We have a organizer who does a lot of movies and fun dinners after or before.
How about visiting , maybe some historic places, specialty shops, a restaurant that looks delicious, fairs, museums, bike rides or walks and maybe even snowmobiling . If you like flowers we go to Phipps or maybe the zoo, or other animal parks. Car cruise, bring your car or just come to look or dinner at a rustic lodges. These are all things that we never make time for.
I also would like to go to the Allegheny Observatory to look at the stars and maybe a road trip to the Amish Country or Hershey, or vineyard tour.
Those are just some of my ideas, this will be our group so it is open for all suggestions and fun for everyone!!
This is a very FRIENDLY group, there are no fee's, no requirements, and few penalties. This group is not run like a business, but as a way to make new friends and have fun without DRAMA! If any other meet up group would like to join us at events that great too! I am NOT a competitive person, and get along with everyone so if you are looking for a relaxing time, this is the group.
I am open to all ideas and have polls for you to give your opinion there are only good ideas, and I don't have a problem if other groups do the same things or similar to us. I feel you should always be open to learning and growing, and what better way than through others experience.
Life has enough ups and downs, I started going to this group to have something to look forward to and to make some long lasting friendships. So join me and lets start making fun memories. Life is too short. Live every day like its your last, and always leave your friends and family with a smile :)
