  • Short intro to our conversation topic

[Scroll down for cool appetizers of thoughts !]

Failure, that much-feared experience that we try so hard to avoid, so much that we sometimes prefer to remain unhappy in our comfort zone. Of course, nobody wants to face the emotional and psychological turmoil that failure engenders in us, but does it really have to be so negative?

Success, on the other hand, is something we all covet! Our education system and our societies have taught us from an early age to work for success and to minimize the mistakes we make as much as possible. It is a conquest that we take so much to heart, that it goes so far as to define what we are, who we are, or perhaps, just who we should be.

But why? Is there really such a hard line between success and failure? Why do we consider failure so negative? Is it nurtured or innate? Is there an evolutionary benefit? Do we own 100% our failures? Or simply, is failure, the way we define it, even a useful concept?

Well, we could go on with wandering and asking questions about failure, and that's what the conversation club is here for! Come with your curiosity and popcorn thoughts that pop out in all directions, and let's spend a cosy and fun evening sharing them together. All you need is your open-mindedness, critical mind and your eagerness to grow in a conversation by respecting others perspectives.
