What have you lost that still lingers within you?

Loss is not only the territory of death. We grieve innocence. We grieve futures that never came to be. We grieve homes, identities, beliefs, soulmates, and seasons of life that once felt permanent.

And yet, loss is rarely only an ending.

For sometimes what is gone continues to shape us. Sometimes, in the ashes of what was, we discover the seeds of what is becoming. What disappears leaves traces. What breaks open creates space. What falls away can reveal depths we never knew were there.

Through poetry, we'll step into that space between absence and presence - the ache of letting go, the mystery of what lingers and what takes root within us in the wake of loss.

WHAT to expect?

  • Deep, human connection through poetry
  • A layered exploration where emotion and intellect meet
  • Resonance - Poets that open inner worlds… and awaken something in your own

WHO is this for?

  • Anyone curious, you don’t need to be a poet!
  • Whether you write, love poetry, or simply want to listen and feel - this space is open to you :-)

HOW it unfolds?

  • We’ll share poems and short texts - your own, or ones you love - sit with them, reflect together.
  • Bring a poem (in any language), or simply come as you are to listen - carrying the edge of something you’ve kept behind a curtain for too long.

🌿 Community Guidelines

  • Only attend if you’re on the attendee list.
  • Listen actively and with curiosity, without interrupting.
  • Engage with ideas, not individuals. We’re here to explore, learn and share, not to argue.
  • Stay present - phones away, attention in the room with physical people.
  • Avoid no-shows and same-day dropouts - they take a spot from someone else and you'll be flagged as "no show". If this happens, please get in touch, otherwise you’ll be removed from the next meetup. If repeated, you may be removed from the group.
  • Please note that the attendee list may be adjusted to accommodate new members or when participants were flagged as late drop-outs or no-shows.

Photos will be taken during the event to share highlights and help grow our community. If you’d rather not be in any photos, just let us know in writing before the event - we’ll gladly respect that.
