The Languages of Love - An Art, Poetry & Reflection Circle
Details
What poem, song, painting, or photograph whispers love to you?
Come to share, to listen, or simply to be inspired by the many ways love has been expressed through art and poetry.
As Tagore wrote, "Love is an endless mystery, for it has nothing else to explain it."
For all that has been written, sung, and painted about it, love continues to elude every definition. Perhaps love is less something to be explained than something to be expressed.
Bring a poem, song, painting, photograph, or any work of art that embodies love for you - whether it's one you've created yourself or one that has left a lasting imprint on your heart and mind. It might speak of romantic love (eros), friendship (philia), familial love (storge), unconditional love (agape), self-love, or any other form love takes.
Together, we'll explore how different people, cultures, poets, musicians, and artists have tried to give shape to one of humanity's oldest mysteries.
WHO is this for?
- Anyone curious, you don’t need to be an artist or a poet!
- Whether you want to listen, witness, or share, this space is open to you :-)
WHAT to expect?
- Deep, human connection through art, and poetry
- A layered exploration where emotion and intellect meet
- Resonance - Artists and poets that open inner worlds… and awaken something in your own
HOW it unfolds?
- Rather than beginning with abstract questions, we’ll start sharing songs, poems (in any language), photographs, and paintings - your own, or ones you love - sit with them, reflect together.

🌿 Community Guidelines
- Attendee list only - Only attend if you're on the attendee list.
- Listen, don't interrupt - Be curious and give others space to speak.
- Engage with ideas, not individuals - We're here to explore, learn and share, not to argue.
- Respect boundaries - Curiosity is welcome; pressure is not. Let vulnerability be a gift, not an expectation.
- 🚫 No-shows and late drop-outs affect future attendance - They take a spot from someone else. If it happens, please get in touch; otherwise, you'll be removed from the next meetup. If repeated, you may be removed from the group.
- ⚖️ Attendee lists may be adjusted - We aim for a diverse and balanced group, make room for new and less frequent attendees, and will deprioritize members with a history of late drop-outs or no-shows.
- Photos at the event - We take photos to share highlights and help grow our community. Don't want to be in photos? Let us know in writing before the event - we'll gladly respect that.
