reading "The Psychopath Test"

Oh - sorry! - wrong book. Jon Ronson's The Psychopath Test is a book about Jon Ronson investigating odds and ends of our current mental health landscape.

You probably remember Jon Ronson from the book / movie The Men Who Stare At Goats, where he was played by George Clooney, and which was about Jon Ronson investigating the US Army's PSYOPS attempts.

Anyway, I've posted this because that other book club has posted a serious, academic (but apparently very short) introduction to psychopathy by Essi Viding, who makes a cameo in this book. [Her book is Psychopathy: A Very Short Introduction from OUP, so you know it's legit; I can post this if there's any interest.]

But the real reason that I've posted this is that it's just so entertaining. This is a fun read, and the audio book is narrated by Jon Ronson himself, and he's just the perfect narrator for a Jon Ronson book.
