During this meetup, we will become familiar with the Node.js platform, and learn how to develop simple web applications using it. The topics we will go through during this crash course include the following:
Introduction to Node.js
Event Loop Introduction
Handling Query String
Working with MongoDB

Timetable:
1800-1845 lecture (part 1)
1845-1900 break
1900-1945 lecture (part 2) m
1945-2000 Q &3A

The training material will be in English. The talk itself will be in Hebrew unless the audience includes guests that don't speak Hebrew (if that happens, the talk will also be in English).

This crash course is delivered by Haim Michael, who has more than 18 years of experience in software development, training & consulting.
