“Philippe The Original” French Dip in LA

Details
It’s time for a Grub Run to “Philippe The Original” French Dip. Established in Los Angeles in 1908, Philippe’s is known for their French dip sandwiches. They offer up roast beef, roast pork, leg of lamb, turkey, pastrami and ham dips. If you want it wet, you need to ask for a double dip where the French roll is dipped twice in the natural gravy of the roasting juices... truly a delight.
Our route will take us through Pasadena’s Historic Route 66 and onto the Arroyo Seco Parkway exiting in the Historic China Town. The ride will end at Philippe’s which is within walking distance to Los Angeles’ historic China Town, Union Station, and Olvera Street home of LA’s original Pueblo. For those of you that need an escort back to Lifestyle Cycles, we will be departing soon after lunch and returning via the El Monte Busway and the 10 freeway.
SKILL LEVEL: This ride is open to all skill levels.
For your safety and that of the group, we require that you show up with a DOT-approved helmet, full tank of gas, and tires in good condition. It is imperative that you show up at Lifestyle Cycles in Anaheim for the pre-ride safety meeting to ride with the group.
