LCRG 1st Moto Camping Trip!!! Yes, we are camping off our motorcycles for the weekend! We will ride towards Joshua Tree National Park but before entering the park we will stop for gas and lunch. Then we will ride through Joshua Tree National Park on our way to our reserved campsites to set up our tents, etc. That evening we will make carne asada and chicken tacos for dinner for the group. Then we will gather around the fire pits for great stories and laughs to be told by all. For many of you it will be the first time Moto Camping but you are in for a treat... so much FUN!
We have already paid and reserved the camping spots at Joshua Tree. We are limited to the number of people and vehicles. Now, obviously we will be able to fit 3 to 4 motorcycles in one vehicle parking spot. But to coordinate this trip I will need to know EVERYONE that is going and what you are driving (motorcycle, car, truck, whatever).
Plus, there is a FEE to this event. $20 per person to cover the campsites, dinner, firewood, and breakfast burritos (chorizo, eggs, and potato) in the morning. I will need everyone to Zelle Carol Sleeper @ (714)863-5547 the $20 per person fee to reserve your spot. Just RSVPing on Meetup means nothing... I need your money in my hands to hold your spot. I'm sorry but there are no refunds... all monies will be spent by the group!
Now here's a list of some things you need to bring with you:
Tent
Sleeping bags
Inflatable sleeping pads
Inflatable pillow (or just your clothes in a stuff sack)
Camping chair
Drinks
Snacks
Libations and maybe something to share
Your clothes and Toiletries
Amenities of Joshua Tree Campsites:

Flush toilets; There are bathroom buildings but the walk is dark so bring light (flashlight or phone).
(No electrical)
Joshua Tree is a National Park so if you have a National Park Pass do not forget to bring it with you. Otherwise, you can buy a daily pass.
