### 🧠 Degrowth for Beginners: Imagining an Economy Beyond Excess

What if less really could mean more?
In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll explore the big, bold idea of degrowth—a vision for an economy that prioritizes well-being, community, and the planet over endless production and consumption. Together, we’ll unpack what degrowth means (and doesn’t mean), why it’s becoming a central conversation in climate and social justice spaces, and how it connects to our everyday lives.
Through reflection, discussion, and creative exercises, you’ll start to imagine a world beyond excess—and discover small ways to align your own choices with values of care, equity, and regeneration.
This session is for the eco-curious, the system-questioners, and anyone ready to rethink “growth” as we know it. No prior knowledge required—just an open mind.

✨ What to expect:

  • A beginner’s guide to the core principles of degrowth
  • Tangible examples of how this shows up in culture, work, and daily life
  • Group discussion on what a thriving post-growth society might feel like
  • Journaling prompts to help you reflect on your role in shaping change

🌱 Come as you are, leave with fresh ideas and a little more hope for the future.
