After years of hosting events focused exclusively on bleeding edge tech, crypto and AI, I have decided to broaden our scope.

Drawing the expertise of our online programs, and bringing together our growing tribe of the best educators in Lisbon, to host IRL events for progressive entrepreneurs and modern wisdom keepers.

Light School is a hub for unlocking your wisdom, and expanding human flourishing.
While Tech and AI will still very much be a focal part of programming, you’ll gain access to a hive mind that expands beyond these realms, with holistic online webinars and masterclasses, IRL meet ups and workshops for conscious entrepreneurs and modern educators.

Tuesday, November 4th, The AI Salon Panel arrives in Lisbon as part of LisbonAIWeek at the AIHub Unicorn Factory.

We're gathering a panel of local AI experts with differing views on AI: spiritual futurists, startup ecosystem builders, skeptical community organizers, and data policy nerds for an in-depth panel.

The panel will cover perspectives can navigate friction, debating and honest takes without getting nasty. Then we open it up so the room can talk to each other for friendly and mind-opening discussions.

Mariana Montenegro
Mariana Montenegro is AI Hub & Web3 Hub Associate at Unicorn Factory Lisboa, where she supports AI startups scaling in Europe. With a background in Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics, she brings technical expertise and ecosystem knowledge to the conversation about what's actually being built versus what's being hyped.

Bengisu Ozaydin
Bengisu is a multi-dimensional musician and Googler turned blockchain architect and developer weaving art, consciousness and code into a single harmonic field. With 7 years experience in VR game development, full-stack web2 and web3 applications and networks, she builds protocols that shape how decentralized and artistic worlds come alive via digital mediums.

Nuno Moreno
Nuno has spent the last 7 years deeply embedded in Portugal’s startup ecosystem, working alongside founders, building programs from scratch, and forging partnerships that help early-stage teams grow. He's funny, rambunctious, and brings a refreshingly practical perspective on what's real versus what's hype in the AI startup world.

Michael Fiorentino
Michael comes from the ad tech and big data world in New York City, leading marketing efforts at interactive video companies. He saw firsthand how big tech prioritizes engagement and data extraction over user wellbeing and creator compensation. This led him to create Ambistream, a social TV platform where users can create and remix their digital experiences. Michael thinks a lot about long-term infrastructure, data privacy and ethical governance.

Nick Sarafa
Nick is a futurist, creative technologist and speaker who explores the relationship between AI and human flourishing, breaking the boundaries of technology and spirituality with his divergent ideas about how AI will usher in a new era of human abundance. He is also a spiritual artist who creates digital sacred geometry as light show installations at festivals, music circles, and spiritual gatherings. He founded the Light School which brings together progressive entrepreneurs.

The event is free, and wine, beer and snacks will be served.
