How much play can you pack into one afternoon? Join the fun and find out! We have an amazing event lined up at a beautiful spot in Central Park. We'll be playing with the “rules” and doing things a little differently so we can truly and easily indulge our inner, playful selves. Here's what's happening:
Bring your picnic blanket and/or yoga mat because we have amazing yoga guides, Rachel Chibnik and Mary Greenan, from Tara Stiles' Strala Yoga (http://stralayoga.com/) who will be leading the most playful yoga class you've ever experienced!
Strala is known for its laid-back, energetic and open vibe. “We’re a straightforward, unpretentious yoga revolution that connects you back inward, leaving space to carve out a strong, capable body and calm, focused mind.”
Tara is also the designer and face of Reebok's yoga lifestyle line.

Feel the exhilaration and delight of spontaneous, creative play with Lynn, your Meetup Group leader! We'll warm up with games such as “tag, everyone's it” and then move on to secret handshake, "clown" bumper cars and explore new and fun ways of playing as a group.

Test your agility with a new way to play! Ogosport (http://www.ogosport.com), a Brooklyn based game design company whose mission is to get everyone to go outside to play together & be healthy, will be generously providing us with some of their games – giving a new spin to long-time favorites:
Ogodisk Mini - a hand-trampoline for balls that works like a racquet and a frisbee.
Ogodisk Raq - works like the Ogodisk, but the handle allows for faster game play, and the flux ball accessory lets the user change the speed and flight pattern of the ball.

So bring some snacks and your wonderful self...this event will be held, Rain or Shine.
Also, we would like to take some photos and videos during the event – if you do not want to be photographed just let us know.
Location & Directions:
Pilgrim Hill, Central Park
Pilgrim Hill is right off of 72nd Street and 5th Avenue. Enter at 72nd St and 5th and stay on the north side of the street. The road will curve towards the right – keep going around the curve and you'll see the Pilgrim Statue. After you pass the statue make a right onto the lawn – there will be a small hill and flat ground below it. This is our spot! Here's a great map of Central Park for more information.
