When writing your server you have an architectural debate whether to use ORM or not. On the one hand, using them might be problematic on a large scale. On the other hand, platforms like Prisma and Drizzle are becoming very common . In this talk, Tamar will talk about different ORMs in Node.js: Traditional ORMs like Sequalize, and lean ORMs like Drizzle and Prisma. Tamar will explain what the architectural considerations are for choosing an ORM and which of them will fit into each case. In addition - Tamar will talk about working with ORMs on a large scale - what are the challenges, and which of the frameworks might fit to part of the needs . At the end of this session, the participants will have the knowledge of which ORM to choose in several server patterns.
