View it as a rain date or as a freshly scheduled event... This event takes place whether or not we have good weather on June 22 (which is looking more and more unlikely). So feel free to sign up for both events - or change your RSVP. June 29 appears to be sunny, but often overcast skies can make for more dramatic scenic shots - so you might wish to attend on both dates to get a variety of experiences.
Capture breathtaking scenic views over Lake Michigan from this brand new venue as well as lake-level views - all during Magic Hour. And learn to do it all without a tripod, taking advantage of image stabilization in your camera or lens and proper handheld-camera shooting techniques. Already know how to shoot handheld under any conditions? That's fine. Join us and have fun taking pictures. A newbie to lowlight photography? Then you'll definitely want to join us.
What you'll need: any camera or smartphone. Lenses: 28mm or wider; zoom for telephoto views of the distant skyline.
What you won't need (or can't use): flash, tripod, monopod, selfie stick
