Learn Lightspeed Saber fencing, the world's fastest light-based fencing!

Obi Wan called the lightsaber an "elegant weapon". What did he mean by that? In my opinion, he was talking about the sleek, efficient design of the lightsaber: just a handle, and a plasma blade, no unnecessary parts-- not even a handguard. A true Jedi doesn't need a handguard.

That's what we do here at Lightspeed Saber Academy, we practice in the art of the plasma sword with no handguards to save us. Can you do it? It's harder than you think, and it substantially changes the nature of sword-styled combat.

In this 2 hour beginner class, you'll learn how to wield a realistic, light-weight plasma sword, and learn the basic rules and strategies of Lightspeed Saber fencing, the sport form of our art. You don't need any equipment or experience.

You must be 15 or older to attend this class. All safety equipment and sabers are provided. Wear clothing and shoes you are prepared to move around and sweat in.

This is a moderate contact combat sport. You may get a few bruises. You are welcome to bring extra layers of clothing for added protection.

PARKING:
Park outside the Luxe Buffet and enter the mall. Go down the escalators and turn left. We will be on your left.
