FREE Lightspeed Saber Academy Classes

Lightspeed Saber fencing is a new sport simulating light-based sword combat. There is no choreography involved; just speed, skill, stamina, and strategy. Join for fun and exercise or enroll in our competitive squadrons to represent Orange County California nationally and internationally.
WHAT DOES IT ENTAIL?
Our typical class runs like this:
- Warmups
- Stretching
- Sparring and/or lesson of the day
- Friendly matches
- End of session strength & cardio training
This takes between 1.5 and 2.5 hours typically. Stay for as much or as little as you like.
WHO CAN COME?
Everyone is welcome but to participate you should be at least 10 years old. Adults are welcome. Beginners are welcome. Practitioners of other weapon arts, martial arts, or sports are welcome.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR OR BRING?
Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and shorts, joggers, tights, or anything you are comfortable exercising and sweating in. Jeans, baggy pants or shorts not recommended.
If you have your own "lightsaber" you may bring it.
