Astrology apps and AI tools are powerful, but without the basics, they can provide confusing or inaccurate information. This 3 hour in-person workshop at Light Works Spiritual Wellness Center is designed to teach the foundational skills needed to understand and read a birth chart with confidence.

Join Tina of Destination Tarot and Jennie of Ascending Dawn Doula for a practical, beginner-friendly introduction to astrology that focuses on how charts actually work - so digital tools, apps, and AI become helpful companions rather than misleading shortcuts.

What You’ll Learn

• Astrology Foundations: The zodiac signs and what they truly represent, the 12 houses and the life areas they govern, and how signs, houses, and planets work together to tell a cohesive story.
• Your Top Three: Sun Sign (core identity and vitality), Ascendant or Rising Sign (how you show up in the world), and Moon Sign (emotional needs and inner landscape).
• Key Life & Soul Indicators: Chiron (wounds, healing, and growth), North Node (life direction and soul lessons), and Midheaven or MC (career, reputation, and legacy).
• Practical Skills: How to look at any birth chart with confidence, how to recognize patterns instead of memorizing definitions, and why foundational knowledge matters before relying on astrology apps or AI tools.

Live Chart Demonstrations (Limited)

Three attendees will receive a complimentary full birth chart reading during the workshop. These readings will be conducted live as teaching demonstrations so all participants can learn through real examples, and each selected participant will receive their personalized full birth chart to take home as a thank-you. One week prior to the event, the hosts will reach out to attendees to see who is interested in being considered; if selected, birth date, birth time, and birth location will be required.
