🌟 Join us for the First Annual Fort Worth Trinket Auction 👨🏻‍⚖️
A money-free auction where nonsense reigns, sentimental junk finds its people, and delightful oddballs find their people, too.

We’ll have a gavel, a ledger, ridiculous rules, and zero expectations.
This is a low-pressure, playful event designed for creative, shy, curious humans who enjoy nonsense and gentle social chaos.

🎪 HOW IT WORKS
* Everyone brings 1 - any number of small trinkets
(Found objects, weird toys, notes, buttons, rocks, tiny art, cursed items, mysterious keys, etc.)
* NO MONEY. EVER.
You “bid” by offering:

• Another trinket
• A combination of trinkets
• A ridiculous promise (“I will cherish this forever”)
• A dramatic story about why your trinket deserves to win
  * The auctioneer (with approval first from the initial tradee) decides when an offer is acceptable, not “highest.”
  * The goal is delight, not value.

📜 OFFICIAL RULES
1. You may bid with objects only
2. You may combine trinkets
3. You may withdraw bids dramatically
4. You may appeal emotionally
5. You may pass with no explanation

🗺️ LOCATION: Trinity Park (Fort Worth)
We’ll be meeting at Trinity Park, one of Fort Worth’s largest and most relaxed public parks. There’s plenty of open space, shade, and room to spread out - perfect for low-pressure socializing, weird little objects, and gentle chaos.

🧸 WHAT TO BRING
* As many small trinkets as you’d like to trade (nothing valuable or irreplaceable)
* A blanket or chair if you want to be extra comfy
* Curiosity and a willingness to embrace mild nonsense
