What we’re about
This group brings together beginner to intermediate tennis players who want two things that usually improve the same way:
spoken English and tennis confidence.
On court, you have to communicate, call the score, laugh at mistakes, talk between points. When you’re moving, you stop overthinking. The rally does the work.
That said, you don’t need to be here for English to belong.
If you’re simply a beginner or intermediate player looking for real hitting practice, this group is for you, too. Lessons help but real progress comes from playing with different people, staying in rallies, and spending time on court beyond your coach.
And let’s be honest: Practising tennis only with beginners… or practising English only with beginners… doesn’t get you very far, very fast.
Here, you get time on court, real conversation, and a mixed group of uni students, postgrads, expats, and newcomers to Sydney, all playing, talking, and learning together.
No shirt, no shoes, no worries - as the Aussies say.
For us: no drills, no homework, no pressure.
We design the context: court rallies, conversation, and connection - IRL.
