Healing the Mother Wound: Reclaim Your Self-Worth & Strengthen Boundaries
Details
The relationship we have with our mother, whether loving, complicated, distant, or incomplete, shapes the foundation of how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world. The “Mother Wound” is not about blame. It is about understanding the patterns, beliefs, and emotional imprints we inherited so we can finally release what no longer serves us and step into deeper self-worth, self-trust, and inner safety.
This workshop offers a gentle yet powerful space to explore, heal, and reconnect to the parts of yourself that have long been waiting to be seen.
Signs You May Be Carrying the Mother Wound
You may experience the mother wound if you notice:
- Feeling “not enough,” even when accomplishing or achieving
- Difficulty trusting yourself or your decisions
- Taking care of others while abandoning your own needs
- Feeling responsible for other people’s emotions
- Fear of being too much or not enough
- People-pleasing or seeking external validation
- Struggles with boundaries or guilt when you set them
- An inner critic that feels harsh or unforgiving
- Emotional numbness, avoidance, or shutting down
- Repeating relationship patterns without wanting to
- Deep grief, longing, or resentment that feels hard to articulate
These patterns often come from learned roles, inherited beliefs, unmet childhood needs, or even your lineage, that are NOT a personal failure.
What you'll experience and receive:
- Reconnect with the parts of you that learned to suppress, hide, or overperform
- Release internalized patterns of guilt, shame, or self-judgment
- Experience guided healing work to soften the inner critic
- Begin rewriting the inner narrative inherited from your maternal line
- Cultivate a deeper sense of self-compassion and emotional freedom
