Hola Explorers. Este es un Meetup de dos partes. La primera parte de este Meetup comienza en el Museo Jade Rivera.

El artista de renombre internacional Jade Rivera ahora exhibe sus pinturas en este museo, ya que su taller, que ahora sirve como galería en Bajada de Baños, se le quedó pequeño. El museo tiene una magnífica muestra del trabajo de Rivera a lo largo de las décadas en diversos medios. Fascinante ver su evolución, experimentación y revisión de varios estilos. El museo es pequeño, bien iluminado y agradable. El personal del museo estará disponible para responder preguntas y brindar comentarios sobre las obras de arte. En la cafetería del primer piso también se ofrece una exposición temporal de cerámicas deun artista invitado. Estoy pensando en una hora en el museo.

Para la segunda parte (opcional), necesitarás zapatos para caminar y tal vez un sombrero. Nos dirigimos a Bajada de Baños para ver de cerca y en persona el Street Art de Rivera y otros artistas. Habrá lugares para tomar bebidas/comida. ¡NO vamos a caminar hasta la playa! 😁

Another amazing painter/ muralist is now Part Three of this event! After the Museo Jade Rivera and the walk along Bajada de Baños, we will return to the heart of Barranco. Superchatoeric, Eric Cárdenas, will be finishing his newest mural tonight!

Hello Explorers. This is a two part Meetup. Part One of this Meetup starts at the Museo Jade Rivera.

Internationally acclaimed artist, Jade Rivera, now displays his paintings in this museum, having outgrown his workshop, wich is now a gallery on Bajada de Baños. The museum has a gorgeous sampling of Rivera's work through the decades in diverse media. Fascinating to see his evolution, experimentation, and revisiting of various styles. The museum is small, well-lit and pleasant. Museum staff will be available to answer questions and provide commentary on the artworks. There is also a guest artist having a showcase of his ceramics in the cafeteria on the first floor. I'm thinking maybe an hour in the museum.

For Part Two (optional) you are going to need your walking shoes and maybe a hat. We are heading to Bajada de Baños to see the Street Art of Rivera and other artists up close and personal. There will be places to have drinks/food. We are NOT walking all the way to the beach.
