Microservices - how to deal with them on dev laptop.
Nowadays many services are broken down to “single responsibility services”, which turns out that the developer needs to start many applications to be able to test the solution. Using Kubernetes (as a micrk8s, mini-kube or even a cloud provided one) can reduce the 'burden'.
Goal: broke the ice between dev and ops and show how one can leverage Kubernetes to synchronize all system components.
Technologies used:
.Net core WebApi and middleware
MSSQL server in linux container
A fronted application (React.js)
NGINX as a proxy
Kubernetes (microk8s locally, AKS in Azure)
