On the weekend Munster welcome the All Blacks back to Thomond Park, Limerick invites Johnny Sexton to the city for a rare conversation about his career and his many Munster connections.
Following the national launch of his autobiography, Obsessed, in Dublin’s Bórd Gais Theatre this coming October, A Munster Invitation welcomes Johnny to Limerick for an evening of conversation about his singular career, his rugby relationship with Munster, and a celebration of his connections across the province.
In conversation with The Irish Times’ Denis Walsh, and on the weekend the city welcomes the All Blacks back to Thomond Park, the evening will centre on Johnny’s career as well as celebrating Johnny’s family connections in Limerick, Kerry and across the province, and exploring his unique relationship with Munster, Munster Rugby, and the players with whom he shared the field for Ireland and the Lions.
Johnny Sexton | A Munster Invitation is presented by I.NY (in partnership with Catapult, and in association with the International Rugby Experience) at Lime Tree Theatre, Limerick, on Friday, November 1st, 2024. Doors open at 7.30pm on the night, with conversation beginning from 8pm. Limited tickets, priced at €51.50 including booking fee, and available from Lime Tree Theatre box office. Copies of Johnny’s autobiography, Obsessed, will be available for purchase on the night.
Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday 23rd July at 10am. IRE e-mail subscribers can avail of 24 hour advance booking from Monday 22nd July.
