Book Club Kickoff – Casual Meet & Intro Chat (+ Optional Reading Challenge)

I recently started reading and realised something, I’d much rather discuss ideas with others than keep them to myself. So, I’m kicking off this book club as a way for us to share thoughts, discover new books, and enjoy good conversations.

For this first meetup, there’s no required reading. Just come along, tell us what you’re into, and let’s figure out what kind of club we want to create.
We’ll cover:

• What we’re currently reading
• What types of books we like
• How often we want to meet
• Ideas for our first read

Optional challenge:
If you want, bring a book you’ve read recently or pick one to read before the meetup; any genre, any style. Just be ready to share a few thoughts.

Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just getting started, everyone’s welcome. The goal is to keep it casual, fun, and open-minded.

Afterwards, if people are up for it, we can grab a cheeky lunch nearby.
