Peak District Day trip. Luds church & The Roaches walk.

Day Trip idea. I know it’s not for everyone. A 2 hour drive. 11 mile walk… but the scenery is epic. The roaches trig stands at 506m above sea level, amazing rock formations, a pond and lovely views. Luds church is a fern and moss covered gorge in the woods with lots of history dating back to medieval times. There is a cafe next to the river Dane at Gradbach Mill near the car park.
