Cromford circular, Mills - black rock (Weather permitting)

Walk off the Christmas treats with this 5 mile walk at Cromford near Matlock bath. The walk starts at Arkwrights mills and follows the canal taking in the landmarks of the Victorian past. We then have a climb up to black rocks with a lovely view point of the Derwent valley and surrounding hills then head back into Cromford where we can get food or drinks in the local pubs or cafes… Weather permitting we will not travel in freezing conditions or heavy rain or snow.
