River Trent walk,(Lunch stop)Newark Castle - Farndon Marina

A nice walk along the river Trent from the park opposite Newark castle to Farndon Marina. There are a couple of pubs in the marina so suitable to stop for a pub lunch or just a drink if you prefer. The walk is around an hour and 15 minutes each way. There is a pay and display car park next to the ice cream hut by riverside park shown in the photos (Picture 10) Riverside car park off Tolney Lane. Meet on the grass opposite the castle at 11:30.
