River Trent walk,(Lunch stop)Newark Castle - Farndon Marina

Rescheduled due to flooding last time. A nice walk along the river Trent from the park opposite Newark castle to Farndon Marina. There are a couple of pubs in the marina so suitable to stop for a pub lunch or just a drink if you prefer. The walk is around an hour and 15 minutes each way. (Approx 6 miles in total) There is a pay and display car park next to the ice cream hut by riverside park shown in the photos. Riverside car park off Tolney Lane. Meet on the grass opposite the castle at 11:30. Please let me know in the comments if you would like a pub lunch or taking your own packed lunch because I will need to book a table. Thanks
