Lakes trip walk 1. Parking in Keswick lakeside car park, we will take the 9:45 ‘walkers special’ ferry to Hawse end jetty, Kitchen Bay and start the climb up to Catbells (451m) with excellent views over Derwentwater and the surrounding hills. We go over the top and down the other side into Manesty Park wood and along the woodland path back to the Ferry Jetty. Ferry price is currently £12.20 for a return fare. The route is around 4.5 miles we can then have some food and explore Keswick town. Please arrive at the ferry ticket office no later than 9:30 you can a pre book online. Ferry departs at 9:45.
