Belper - River Derwent and Blackbrook circular. 7 miles

Join us in Belper Derbyshire for a lovely walk along the river Derwent to Blackbrook. Starting from riverside gardens we cross the bridge over the horseshoe weir and follow a track alongside the river for a short while before turning left and a short climb out of the valley. We then walk across open fields and footpaths then descend back down to the river and follow the path into Belper. Please park near the train station at Field lane car park or Riverside gardens. Both are £3.20 all day. There is a couple of short sections of on road walking but they are not busy toads. The riverside Cafe has toilets and serves drinks, cakes, sandwiches and ice creams. Please arrive in time to set off at 10:15 at riverside gardens cafe meeting place (start/finish). Dogs on leads please due to farm animals on route.
