Ropsley - Scotland (village east of Grantham) circular walk. 8miles

Details
Hosted by Annie.
Ropsley to Scotland is not the long trek it might appear, for Scotland is a remote hamlet in south Lincolnshire, five miles east of Grantham. This circular walk skirts several small woods using public footpaths and through Ingoldsby Woods by the Round Hills earthworks. Crossing over the Cross Britain Way at Little Humby.
Lunch / snack stop at Great Humby chapel so bring food/drink. This is a wet area due to being close to the River Eden with several footbridges to cross so expect mud. I will walk this route a week prior to check water levels and access.
Dogs – lots of stiles and footbridges so be prepared to lift over. Possibility of livestock in fields and there are some short sections on village roads so short leads where required please.
I will book a table at the Green Man for after the walk if anyone wants a cooked meal, they have an extensive vegetarian menu and the desserts are amazing! The table is outside under covered seating area (dog friendly area) https://www.the-green-man-ropsley.com/menus
£1 subs please, let me know in comments if you want a delicious lunch booked.
Parking location TBC nearer the time. No toilets or refreshments on route, but you can use the pub at the end of the walk.
