Details
A lovely 6 mile dog-friendly circular walk taking in 4 counties! Although the start and finish of the walk are in Lincolnshire, you will also be walking in Rutland, Northamptonshire and Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.
The walk takes you along the banks of the River Welland and up onto higher ground at Easton on the Hill, where there are good views back over Stamford and to the Fens beyond. The walk goes through attractive woodland at Wothorpe and ends with an approach giving great views of the town.
We will stop for a well earned drink at The Blue Bell Pub The Blue Bell Pub, Easton on the Hill | The Blue Bell Pub half way round.
Stamford has an abundance of places to stop for lunch afterwards. Let me know if you wish lunch before heading home and I will be happy to book somewhere if there is sufficient interest.
