Sherwood Forest and the magnificent Major Oak.

Join me for a 6 mile (approx)walk around Nottinghams famous Sherwood Forest and see the magnificent Major Oak. (Period fancy dress optional)
Meet outside the visitors centre.
Bring a picnic and a drink to have along the way.
Please squeeze as many people as legally possible into your car to keep your carparking fees down (£6) per car.
Although not, no way, will I be dressing up i will be carrying out the role of The Sheriff, Prince John, and Robin of Loxley and taking a £1 standard fee from you.

It will not be my intention to venture near to, or into the naturists (nudist area) so as not to cause upset or offence to any body. Should you follow a slightly different route to the 1 I'm taking you do so at your own risk.
