Country walking from Cherry-Willingham. (Replaces the Ropsley walk)

This 6 mile walk combines a stretch of the River Witham with the two rural villages of Cherry Willingham and Fiskerton.

We follow the River Witham upstream for roughly 2 1/2 miles towards Lincoln, with great views of Lincoln cathedral on the hill.

We will stop at the Carpenters Pub in Fiskerton for a well earned refreshment break before returning along the Viking Way back to Cherry Willingham. Dogs are allowed in the main bar area and beer garden.

I will be booking Sunday lunch at the Wishing Well pub for after the walk. Please let me know in the comments below if you wish to stay for lunch.
