NT Longshaw estate - Padley Gorge - Higger Tor. 8 mile walk.

Join us for this lovely walk in the peaks starting from the National Trust Longshaw estate (cafe & toilets) we head south to Padley gorge and follow the river to Grindleford where we can stop for a snack break. Then up the other side of the river and head north to Higger Tor 424m (Rock formations) down the other side of the hill then loop around and back to the Longshaw estate. The route is just over 8 miles long and a has 400m of elevation gain. Padley gorge should look pretty this time of year with the leaves on the trees in autumnal colours.
