Potterhanworth 7 mile circular

This is a gently undulating route on well trodden paths and through three villages.
We start outside The Chequers pub chequerspotterhanworth.co.uk in Potterhanworth, pass the war memorial and then follow the Spires and Steeples Trail through the villages of Nocton and Dunston - where we will stop for a short break at the Red Lion pub Red Lion Dunston - Red Lion Dunston. We continue across the fields, skirting Nocton Wood and follow Car Dyke into Potterhanworth Woods before returning to our starting point through the village.
I will be booking a table for Sunday lunch at The Chequers - let me know in the comments if you would like to stay for lunch.
Dogs welcome on the walk and the bar in the pub is dog friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant does not allow dogs.
