Summer at Snipe Dales and Hagworthingham 7 mile circular walk
Details
This walk takes in the Snipe Dales Country Park in the Lincolnshire Wolds before heading off towards Hagworthingham village, passing Shire Farm, which is also a vineyard and glamping site. It has a Chakra Path – a trail created to mirror the chakra system.
We pass through the village before heading off over the fields into the Wolds on a circular route. We begin our return with a brief comfort stop at JJ's cafe in Hagworthingham (amazing cakes). We pass over a ford back into the woodlands, streams, and rolling hills of the Country Park.
Parking (£1 all day - CASH ONLY) and toilet facilities are available at Snipe Dales, and there are numerous information boards to find out more about the local wildlife. Dogs are permitted on a lead in the country park.
Sections of the paths in Snipe Dales are currently wet and muddy so sturdy footwear is recommended.
I will be booking a table for Sunday lunch at The Admiral Rodney hotel in Horncastle as they were so good recently.
Please let me know in the comments if you would like to join me for lunch.
£1 subs as usual
