Setting off we leave the village of Barston heading to Marston. On the way way cross a train track with lights controlling crossing before coming to the stepping stones allowing us to cross the River Witham. We follow the river before heading off to pass under the main east coast train tracks, past a sewage farm and along a track before entering the village of Marston. This is the halfway point and we'll stop for liquid refreshments and your sandwiches.
When all refreshed, we leave Marston heading towards, and past Frinkley farm. Just before the farm we have to carefully cross the main east coast train tracks and back towards Barkston, where those who require further refreshing may call in at the Stag pub.
Dogs welcome
£1 subs.
