Parking at Bowden bridge car park, roadside parking is available in the area put please be considerate to the locals. If you’re staying in Hayfield you can walk to the start point. This is a 7.5 mile route around Kinder reservoir and climbing up to the kinder plateau then walking along the top to the various rock formations, kinder downfall, and the trig point at 636m above sea level. The views are amazing on a clear day. Please bring a packed lunch and enough water to keep you hydrated. It can be cold or windy at the summit so an extra layer and waterproofs are recommended. The climb in the first 1/3rd of the walk is moderate-hard. Please see photos for what to expect.
