Bleaklow & middle black Clough waterfall, 8 miles. Peaks trip walk 2.

Meeting at the site of former Woodhead rail station, there are 3 lay-by car parks nearby off the main road A628 out of Glossop. A larger pay & display is near the sailing club at Torside reservoir and Crowden. We will need to arrange car sharing. This walk takes us up on the moor to Bleaklow stones 630m and Bleaklow head 633m, we will then visit Middle black Clough waterfall on the way down and finish back at the Woodhead tunnels. Please bring a packed lunch and enough water to keep you hydrated for the duration of the walk. The nearest toilets are on the way at the sailing club car park, Torside reservoir, we can find somewhere to go for food and drinks in Glossop after. The walk offers spectacular scenery and a visit to the 2nd highest peak in the National park.
