Rowsley to Chatsworth. River Derwent walk 7.5 miles.

Join us for this lovely River Derwent walk to Chatsworth. Meeting at Peak Shopping village Rowsley (free parking). Cafes shops and toilets on site. We walk north along the river Derwent then cross fields to the Chatsworth estate. We ascend up the hill above the house to see the aqueduct and hunting tower before dropping down through the wood back to the river Derwent then follow the River back to Rowsley from the opposite side bank. There are a few gates and stiles on route. There may be sheep and deer in the grounds of the estate. Please try and car share with friends. The shopping mall area has 2 cafes. Subs £1 please. Please arrive in time for a 10:30 start.
