Chatsworth - River Derwent loop walk 7.5 miles.

Join us for this lovely River Derwent walk to Chatsworth. Meeting at Nether end car park Baslow. Cafes shops and toilets nearby. We walk north along the river Derwent then cross fields to the Chatsworth estate. We ascend up the hill above the house to see the aqueduct and hunting tower before dropping down through the wood back to the river Derwent then follow the River back to Baslow from the opposite side bank. There are a few gates and stiles on route. There may be sheep and deer in the grounds of the estate. (Dogs on leads please) Please try and car share with friends. There is a cafe and toilets on the end of the building at Chatsworth car park we will stop for lunch. Subs £1 please. Please arrive in time for a 10:15 start.
