LAUG4 - Augmented Reality with Harsha and Kagool!

What is AR? Augmented reality is an enhanced, interactive version of a real-world environment achieved through digital visual elements, sounds, and other sensory stimuli via holographic technology. AR incorporates three features: a combination of digital and physical worlds, interactions made in real time, and accurate 3D identification of virtual and real objects.

Augmented reality offers a better way to design, curate, and deliver consumable instructions by overlaying digital content in real-world work environments. When a business understands what AR is and how to utilize it successfully, everyone can work remotely while collaborating efficiently.

We have two amazing speakers lined up for this session:

Firstly we have one of our own LAUG community members, Harsha Buddabathuni, who is going to talk us through his own industry experience from India. Harsha has recently moved to Cherry Willingham with his wife, who works for local IT services organisation ai.digital.

Secondly we have Sarg from leading Microsoft Data, AI and AR partner, Kagool, who'll be showcasing a Digital Twins in Manufacturing environment for remote monitoring, remote control and automation. This will showcase the integration between HoloLens Azure Cloud, and they'll also touch on their WIP project around a Museum of The Future (Dubai) and how they're helping tourists with a state of the art engagement platform.
