## Melbourne Language Exchange, International Social & New Friends

Linguas Language Exchange Melbourne hosts weekly social and language exchange events in the Melbourne CBD.
Meet people, practise languages, make new friends, and connect with locals, internationals, students, travellers, backpackers and expats in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

### Weekly Linguas events

Tuesdays – Father’s Office QV
249 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
Thursdays – Asian Beer Café, Melbourne Central
From 6pm
Entry is $5, or you can purchase food or a drink at the bar.
You are welcome to come alone. Many people do.

### What happens at Linguas?

Linguas is more than a traditional language exchange. Our events bring together people from different countries and backgrounds for conversation, friendship, cultural exchange and socialising.
You can come to:

practise another language
meet new people in Melbourne
make international and local friends
improve your English
connect with other students, travellers and newcomers
simply enjoy a social night out

There is no requirement to be fluent in another language. Beginners are welcome.

We also organise other social and cultural events around Melbourne, including:
Respawn – gaming socials and tournaments
Sugar & Spice – international parties featuring live music, cultural performances and themed events
Thought Experiment – small-group social experiences built around imagination, unusual scenarios, discussion and interesting conversations
Our community includes casual social events, language exchange, gaming, culture, creative discussion and international events.

Linguas no longer runs events at Diesel Bar.
