About us
Most of us know we "should" be more visible online. Fewer of us know where to start, or feel comfortable on camera. This group is a friendly, practical place to figure it out together.
Once a month we meet in downtown Dayton at The Hub in the Dayton Arcade for a hands-on session. Some nights we work on LinkedIn: headlines, About sections, what to post, and how to start conversations that turn into real opportunities. Other nights we work on video: recording a short intro on your phone, lighting a room with what you have, and telling your story in 60 seconds without sounding like a commercial. Every session leaves time to meet people, and you leave with something finished, not just notes.
It's for business owners, consultants, job-seekers, marketers, and anyone in the Dayton area building a professional reputation. Photographers, editors and other creatives are welcome too.
I'm Souley Oumarou. I run AmeriFilms, a video production company in the Arcade building, and I've spent years helping people look and sound like themselves on camera. I started this group because the best opportunities in Dayton still come from people who know and trust each other.
