Bird watching at Tåkern

In the morning on Sunday 1st of September we will take a tour to bird lake Tåkern. The lake is located about 20km west of Mjölby near Omberg. Together with the surrounding beaches the lake has been a nature reserve since 1975. It is considered on of northern Europe's foremost bird lakes.

Bring clothes for the weather, binoculars & a bird book (if you have) and some fika. We will meet at 9 am and should be ready somewhere around noon. It is of course possible to stay longer or for example continue to Omberg after the meetup.

Discuss here or in the Facebook group if you have extra seats or need a ride. It is better we go in fewer cars than going in many half empty. Check with the driver if he or she wants compensation for the gas.

We will meet at the big eggs at the entrance to Naturum Tåkern at 9 am. It takes about 40 min to drive from Linköping.
