Dublin Linux Developers will be meeting online with Piotr Bodziachowski and Kunal Arora from Amazon Web Services.
Piotr and Kunal are Solutions Architects in AWS helping customers to design highly scalable and secure architectures. Piotr has been working in AWS for last 6 years . His background is Linux and Network administration as well as IT and development departments management, SCRUM, COBiT and CAF best practices implementation. Kunal has been working with AWS for about 5 years and has strong background in the big data and analytics including NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto, ETL and streaming among others.
They will present on AWS development and administration tools such as CloudShell and Cloud9 which are Linux based and can be used to manage cloud environments. Infrastructure as Code is a new standard in the modern world. The demo is aimed at presenting powerful ways of setting up cloud environments that consist of network configuration, load balancers, virtual machines with auto-scaling as well as databases using these linux based tools and infrastructure as a code.
Following the presentations from AWS there will be time for questions and talking about the projects you are working on.
