Welcome to the LionHeart Hobby & Games Meetup Group!
We’re a locally owned game and hobby store based in Kyle, Texas, and our mission is simple: Helping humans do joyful things.
This group exists to bring people together around a shared love of games, miniatures, models, painting, roleplaying, and creative exploration. We host events that spark joy, connection, and skill-building in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Because you want more play in your life. Because you believe that sitting around a table with family, friends, or even strangers can lead to something meaningful. And because there’s nothing quite like learning a new game, finishing a project, or stepping into a character and realizing—you’ve found your people.

- “Learn to Play” nights featuring new and favorite board games
- Tournaments, casual play, and organized play for Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and board games
- Painting workshops, model building classes, and special sessions led by guest artists
- Seasonal camps and programs for kids
- Contests, casual meetups, and unforgettable one-day events like Mega Garage Sales and Free RPG Day

League Information
Magic Presents: Master the Four Elements is a fun and casual weekly event with no deck required— you’ll build one as you play!
The first time you attend, you’ll receive 6 Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Boosters to build the best 40-card deck you can. Feel free to get deck-building advice from friends and other players!
Next, you’ll pick one of four emblems that will grant you a special elemental ability as you play through 3 best-of-three matches. Collect a signature from each of your opponents on your elemental emblem, and you’ve mastered that element!
Each week, players will receive an additional pack to improve their deck, then pick a different emblem. Once you’ve collected all four emblems, turn them in to the store for your exclusive foil art print.
Players that win all three of their matches at a weekly event will receive an additional Avatar Play Booster and a promo pack!
Scheduling
The league kickoff event on Friday Nov. 27th will run from 6-10pm, giving players time for deckbuilding and 3 matches. Weekly events will run from 6:30-9:30pm on Fridays. Players interested in joining the league should show up sufficiently early to build their deck; we recommend 30-50 minutes depending on experience level. Cutoff date to join the League and still be able to qualify to win the foil print is December 26th.
Before You Play
There are a few things you need to prepare beforehand:
- Our community is super friendly to newer players, but this is not a learn-to-play event. Please complete the excellent, free tutorial on Magic Arena to learn the basics so you can hit the ground running!
- The Wizards Companion App (or the email address of your Wizards account). Play Arena? Great! Just use the email you signed up with!
- Your event ticket. We recommend RSVPing in advance; we have limited space and pre-registering guarantees your seat.

Cancellations/No Shows
- Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you are late you risk forfeiting your spot to waitlisted participants.
- If after RSVPing you can no longer make the event, please cancel your ticket so that we can bring someone in off the waitlist!

Explorers of Enteja is an epic, store-exclusive campaign designed for in-store play. It's a great way to start your D&D journey.
Our Sunday sessions continue the unfolding story of Explorers of Enteja, a professionally written “storebrew” adventure that’s only run in a handful of hobby stores across the country. We’re proud to bring it to life right here in Kyle, Texas.
You don’t need to bring anything but a sense of adventure. Already have a level 1 character? Bring it! If not, we’ll help you create one when you arrive.
