Title: Streaming your events with Kafka Streams & KSQL
Speaker: Eric Carlier, System Engineer, Confluent
Abstract:
Do you need to build event-driven business applications? You have valuable data coming into your Kafka cluster but you do not leverage it enough today? Your organisation is going through a monolith destruction process, creating agile micro-services architecture? You need to clean, enrich and transform your data as they come in for faster business reporting? Do you need to execute machine learning models in real-time at large scale? If one of these questions ring a bell, this talk is for you. The goal of this talk is to have you understand the fundamentals of Kafka Streams and KSQL, understand their characteristics and benefits, and thus, ultimately, to have you better identify how and where Kafka Streams and KSQL will provide the best value for your own use cases.
